Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is a therapeutic procedure that helps improve function through aquatic therapeutic exercise. Throughout the country, health care providers are allowed to serve in the role of Aquatic Therapists under the umbrella of Aquatic Therapy as defined by the American Medical Association. In short, all Aquatic Therapy services are provided by licensed and/or certified therapists within their scope of practice.  Moreover, Aquatic Therapy is often referred to as Pool Therapy, Water Therapy, and/or Aquatic Rehabilitation.

At Simple Steps, LLC, we operate all Aquatic Therapy services under our scope of practice as Recreational Therapists. We utilize Aquatic Therapy to enhance function and improve quality of life. Our Therapists incorporate leisure and recreation activities, relaxation exercises, weight-bearing, stretching, walking, and other therapeutic procedures into therapy.
